A lovely illustration with bits of nature and affection from Kharkiv, Ukraine.
I really love the vibe I get from this illustration. It’s a warm, sweet feeling that I want to hold on to. The postcard came from the freezing St Petersburg.
Olga sent me details about her city, Pskov, on the back of this postcard. Pskov is an ancient city, first referenced in 903 in a chronicle, and the home of Russian saint St Olga.
Looking like something out of a children’s story book, this postcard came from Krasnodar, Russia, from a 11-year old boy. That makes it extra special to me. I love receiving postcards from kids a bit more – it makes me so happy that there are children out there who don’t outright dismiss snail mail and the joy of writing with a pen on paper.
